Hi, my name is Robert J, and welcome to RJMedia Canada. I love to capture interesting and amazing moments in life. My interest in photography began as a teenager when i was working for my high school's yearbook photography team. In my twenties I began a career in the film and television industry as a stunt performer, then later a stunt coordinator.

After stunt work, I returned to my first artistic love, photography; in part because my shutter finger is one of the only things left I can still bend that doesn't hurt after 25 years of being blown up, pushed down stairs, set on fire, thrown off roofs, shoved in front of cars. LOL I jest... but ooonly a little!

Kidding aside, decades in the film industry and an early love affair with photography guarantees quality, creativity and professionalism in my work. It is very rewarding when clients get excited by my work; especially in a day when everyone has a camera in their pocket.

Technology has come a long way since I was in high school developing my own rolls of film. Today everyone has a camera on them, but there is much more to a beautiful image then pointing and clicking a camera shutter or "App" button. Photography is an art that I take seriously, and a passion I exuberantly pursue.

Other Interests

Apart from film, television and photography, I am a motorcycle enthusiast and builder. Two of my early 80s motorcycles have been featured in national and international magazines. Writing is another creative outlet I enjoy. I have been published in Rapid Bikes Australia Magazine, Christianity Today Magazine and have had several news stories published in local news papers.

Sure, there maybe a couple photographers out there less expensive than me. OK there are a lot, but why would you bargan on memories? Hire a professional like me who's competant, and passionate about his work with just enough OCD to insure things are perfect. Consider me for your next corporate event, private occasion, childs sporting event, or family portraits.

I may not be the cheapest, but I'm not that expensive either. Reconstructive surgery, titanium body parts and rehab, that's expensive!
